A 54-year-old man was carjacked in Stockton’s Bear Creek District over the weekend, police said.
The man, who was not identified, told police he was in the vicinity of Hammer Lane and Alexandria Place around 6 a.m. Saturday when a woman asked him for help.
Once the woman was inside his vehicle, she brandished a sharp object and demanded to be taken to another city, police said in a report.
The man pulled over and jumped out, and the woman fled in the vehicle, authorities said.
There were no further details about the case, although police said the vehicle has since been recovered..
