A 37-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting from November, Stockton police said.

Danielle Milichichi was booked Thursday night into the San Joaquin County Jail on suspicion of murder, according to arrest records.

Police linked Milichichi to a Nov. 13 shooting near Highway 4 and the San Joaquin River, according to a news release.

On that night, officers were called to a report of a vehicle collision involving a pedestrian, police said. Once there, they found a 45-year-old man who had been shot.

The victim was transported to an area hospital, but two days later, hospital staff told police that he had died. Authorities did not identify the victim.

Detectives later identified Milichichi as a suspect in the fatal shooting.

On Thursday, operatives with the U.S. Marshals Service and AB 109 Task Force arrested Milichichi in Stockton.

She is being held without bail and is expected to be arraigned Monday.
