Two teenagers, ages 17 and 18, have been arrested in connection with last week’s fatal shooting of Justice Booth in a parking lot at Oak Park, Stockton police said.

A U.S. Marshals Task Force located and arrested Kamarion Smith on Tuesday in Stockton, according to officers. Smith, 18, was booked into the San Joaquin County Jail on suspicion of murder in the slaying of Booth, 20. No motive was given for the midday killing, the city’s eighth homicide of the year.

A day later, police and marshals in Stockton arrested a 17-year-old who is believed to be an accomplice in the slaying. He was booked into San Joaquin County Juvenile Hall. Because he is a minor, his identity has not been revealed.

Smith is being held without bail, jail records show. In addition to murder charges, he faces 19 other counts, including robbery, assault, possession of a firearm by an ex-felon and possession of a machine gun.

Booth was found April 2 suffering from gunshot wounds in the 3500 block of north Sutter Street, which borders Oak Park. The Stockton resident was rushed to a local hospital, where he died, authorities said.
