Over 400 pounds of cocaine were seized in Tracy last week in a multi-agency operation in San Joaquin County, the Sheriff’s Office said.
On Tuesday, a semi-truck allegedly loaded with 189 kilos of cocaine — about 416 pounds — was stopped after multiple law enforcement agencies tracked it from the Mexican border.
Agents arrived at a location on Koster Road in Tracy and arrested on suspect. A second suspect fled and barricaded himself in an attic, the Sheriff’s Office said. A SWAT team and a K9 assisted in that person’s arrest.
Involved in the operation were U.S. Homeland Security Investigations, the San Joaquin County Metro Narcotics Task Force, the Sheriff’s Office, the Stockton and Tracy police departments, the San Joaquin County probation department and the District Attorney’s Office.
