A 19-year-old man was shot near Interstate 5 west Stockton early Friday morning, according to the Stockton Police Department.
The victim was in the parking lot of a business in the 1700 block of West Fremont Street, in the city’s Civic District when he was shot just after midnight Friday morning.
He was taken to a hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening, according to police.
No arrests were immediately made.
