A Stockton man who used social media to sell illegal firearms was sentenced to nine years in federal prison, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Eastern District of California.

Julian Arellano-Taylor, 21, advertised and sold guns on Instagram between May 2023 and March 2024, federal prosecutors said Friday, until one of his customers was a confidential informant.

Arellano-Taylor reportedly sold 11 firearms to the informant, including ghost guns made to look like Glocks and AR-15 style rifles.

He was also selling cocaine, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
