A 60-year-old man was killed in a hit-and-run collision in Stockton’s Seaport District on Friday evening.

The man was struck at about 7:40 p.m. near Martin Luther King Boulevard and Hunter Street, according to the Stockton Police Department.

The victim died from his injuries after being taken to a hospital. 

Police said the suspected driver responsible fled from the scene and was not immediately located.
