A 75-year-old man was arrested in Stockton’s Lakeview District Saturday for allegedly stabbing an acquaintance.
Robert House was taken into custody at about 12:40 p.m. after Stockton police responded to the reported stabbing in the 4500 block of North El Dorado Street just south of West March Lane.
The 42-year-old victim and House were in an argument prior to the stabbing, according to the Stockton Police Department.
The victim allegedly defended himself by throwing a metal object.
The victim’s injuries were not considered life-threatening, police said.
House was accused by police of assault with a deadly weapon.
