A 36-year-old man died after being shot in Stockton on Tuesday evening, according to police.
The shooting was reported at about 6:15 p.m. in the area of Country Club Boulevard and Clipper Lane, Stockton police said.
The victim was taken to a hospital and succumbed to his injuries there. His name was not immediately available.
Police had not announced an arrest or released any information about the suspected shooter as of Wednesday morning.
