A 32-year-old man died after being shot early Tuesday morning in north Stockton, police said.
Officers responded around 5:09 a.m. to reports of a shooting in the 7600 block of Pacific Avenue in the city’s Lakeview District. They found the victim suffering from gunshot wounds, the Stockton Police Department said in a statement on social media.
The victim was taken to a hospital, where he later died.
No suspect information was immediately available. Police said they are investigating his death as homicide.
