The San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a suspicious death after a body was found on a shoreline near Stockton earlier this week.
Deputies responded around 7:15 p.m. Monday to the 10400 block of North Rio Blanco Road after receiving a report of a person in the water. When deputies arrived, they saw the body of a man near the shoreline, the Sheriff’s Office said.
Investigators have not released the man’s identity or details about how he died.
