A Stockton man was given 20 years in federal prison Tuesday for child exploitation, according to the U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of California.
Elmer Yusay Ngo, 29, used social media to sexually exploit minor girls across the country, prosecutors said.
Ngo “coerced, enticed and persuaded” the girls to produce child pornography of themselves after befriending them online, prosecutors said. Ngo would keep his end of the video call blacked out so that the girls could not see his face.
Ngo pleaded guilty in July 2024 to one count of sexual exploitation of a minor, according to court records. He was indicted in December 2023 on multiple counts of crimes involving the sexual exploitation of a child.
