About Stocktonia News Service
Stocktonia News Service is a nonpartisan and nonprofit news organization dedicated to providing rigorous, ethical, and factual coverage of Greater Stockton, California.
The Stocktonia News Service initiative was launched in 2020 due to the critical lack of reporting on current events taking place in Stockton and San Joaquin County. Our organization is dedicated to best practices in journalism as put forth by the Society of Professional Journalists and is committed to the highest standards of ethics in nonprofit management. After two years of planning, we launched in June 2022.
Our organization is still young. As we grow, we fully expect to change and evolve as the needs of the community become more clear. We fully appreciate your readership and support along the way.
