A 24-year-old man was arrested for allegedly stabbing another man in downtown Stockton on Thursday evening, according to police.
Elijah Trujillo was arrested in connection with the stabbing that occurred shortly before 6:30 p.m. in the 500 block of Center Street in the city’s Civic District, Stockton police said.
The 28-year-old victim was taken to a hospital to be treated for injuries that were not considered life-threatening. Police did not say what led to the stabbing, but said Trujillo was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.
